Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Zonlo app or this website. By using Zonlo you agree to them.

What Zonlo is

Zonlo is a speaking-rehearsal app: a private space to rehearse conversations in another language out loud before they happen. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

Your account

You need an account to save your progress. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

• The first 5 scenarios in each language are free.
• Zonlo Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, you can cancel any time during the trial and pay nothing. Any unused trial period is forfeited when you purchase.
• Manage or cancel in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or through the Manage subscription screen in the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempting to disrupt or overload our servers, no reverse engineering except where the law permits it, no using the feedback service for content unrelated to language practice, and no violating others' rights.

Content and feedback

The scenarios, phrases, and app content belong to Zonlo. Feedback is generated automatically and is provided for learning purposes; it may occasionally be imperfect, and it is not professional translation or certification advice.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: your audio never leaves your phone, and we never sell your data.

Disclaimer and liability

Zonlo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is significant, we will note it in the app. Continuing to use Zonlo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
